After going through an educational process on pearls and visiting local jewelers, I literally spent two weeks searching the web looking for quality pearls "AA" or "AAA" at a reasonable price. The Cultured Pearl was able to provide high quality pearls at literally thousands of dollars off of retail and hundreds of dollars off of other web based wholesalers.
